OriginDevon Johnson is sent into Jamaica’s Blue Mountains, where he discovers an ancient Maroon shield. As he reaches to lift it, lightning strikes the shield at the exact moment his hand touches it. The shield recognises his ancestral bloodline as a descendant of Queen Nanny of the Maroons and channels the storm through him, granting extraordinary strength, enhanced durability, storm power and a spiritual connection to Jamaica’s ancestral defenders. This event begins his transformation into General Jamaica.
